Carmina received a notification from my GCash saying a payment of 25.00 pesos to Google had been successfully processed. At first, I was confused and had no idea where the money was going, which was quite surprising. The only way to figure it out was to check my Gmail account and see the automatic payments being made for donations. In YouTube, go to Settings and select Purchases and Memberships . I found out the charge was from my membership to my friend’s YouTube channel , and I didn’t realize it renewed automatically. I often see people renewing on their own during live streams. To manage it, just click on each membership, go to the channel, choose “Cancel,” select “Other,” and then click save. You’ll soon receive an email linked to your YouTube account that will let you know when it’s time to renew your channel subscription. NOT SPONSORED. It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed.
Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina through her Google Maps.

Everyone enjoys dessert, often saving room for it after a big meal. In the Philippines, we also have merienda, a delightful snack that comes after lunch and before dinner.
Carmina also added some places on Google Maps to help others find them easily.
I see myself as someone who loves helping people, and even though I don’t know you, it’s my pleasure to see your business grow and become more accessible on Google Maps, where people rely on it for navigation.
As I wrap up posting on Google Maps, it’s nice to reflect on the times I’ve tried so many different kinds of food, even while traveling in the past.
