Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Carmina's Yearly Medical Checkup

Carmina's goal is to make sure she is fully taken care and to do that is make sure we take our yearly medical check up. Carmina is a person who always wants what is best for her when it comes to being healthy. Carmina has parents who have health issues in which I've mentioned before from both parents. Carmina's way is to eat healthy and exercise where everyone has their own beliefs. We have some people have no access on how to do it. In the Philippines you can merely ask someone who is a doctor to write you a prescription in order for you to get your laboratory. I had asked a relative who knows me well enough and see them often to be checked up. Mom Violy had introduced Agnes from Asiatic Medical Laboratories, Inc located at #06A Dona Juana Rodriguez Avenue (Broadway), New Manila, Quezon City. Their contact number is 726-9525/726-9582. Carmina always goes there early morning when they open this way your the first and don't see anyone else waiting for their turn. Make su...

Carmina's Review on The Manila Hotel Buffet

Courtesy of Tito Boni Carmina won’t be able to have an experience eating at The Manila Hotel for their buffet restaurant that was taken on December 6, 2021 in celebration of belated birthday of Mom Violy. Carmina would like to thank Tito Boni for a delicious meal it has been two years since Carmina had her steak that was soft, tender and something we won’t be able to forget. Years ago Tito Boni who is the best friend of Mom Violy would always treat us for our birthday in a high class restaurant giving us an experience of a life time. Among years not able to go and eat in an expensive restaurant you finally look into being excited to experience something you come across being grateful having someone in your life. Entering inside The Manila Hotel you'll be asked to take your temperature by the palm of your head and show your vaccination card before you can proceed to enter inside The Manila Hotel. You will be placing your belongings inside an x-ray machine to place your hand bags...
