When Mom Violy wanted seafood, one name kept popping up: Breakthrough Restaurant. Would it live up to the hype?

After a road trip and exploring the area, Mom Violy requested some seafood and was given a recommendation to dine at  Breakthrough Restaurant . When we entered the restaurant, we saw it was bustling with customers, and Mom Violy asked for a table by the window to enjoy the beach view . The server informed us that we needed to place our order at the counter and choose the seafood to be weighed, similar to the process at Dampa . Tita Edna was busy snapping photos, while Carmina was filming as Mom Violy placed her order. Breakthrough isn’t air-conditioned, but they provide electric fans at your table for comfort. Mom Violy wanted sinigang and was deciding which kind of fish to have with her soup. Mom Violy requested the crab and shrimp to be cooked in butter and garlic. Mom Violy also ordered adobong pusit (squid). Tita Edna placed her own order, which was kilawin na dilis . Carmina wanted fresh lumpia , but since it wasn’t available, she opted for pinakbet instead. Mom Violy's Birthday Celebration at the Grand Hyatt Manila

Someone gave Carmina a gift certificate from any Grand Hyatt Hotel in the Philippines having an option to use it. Carmina decided to ask Mom Violy where she would like to dine inside Grand Hyatt Manila  being her treat on her birthday on November 16, 2022. Mom Violy picked No.8 China House. Carmina made reservation online putting under Mom Violy's name letting them know there is a birthday celebrate. The day before you'll be receiving a reminder in your email letting you know your reservation booked on what date you've plan to dine at No.8 China House. We had arrived early and was able to take pictures inside Grand Hyatt Manila's lobby. We had proceed riding the elevation to reach to the 5th Floor to find No.8 China House the restroom is located in the same floor. Mom Violy was craving for Peking duck too bad we didn't know we need to inform No.8 China House that you want it for our meal.
