Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. They usually have a live band, but unfortunately, there was no entertainment the night we went. Fresh Persimmons is in Season

Hey Guys, you guess it right persimmon is in season. Carmina was able to find her favorite fruits. The month of November we often see persimmon in season from where your from although in the Philippines it took awhile to find it where you can have it delivered to your location. Carmina was able to find fresh persimmon from  Builtamart  for PHP 62.00 ($1.24) each piece.  Carmina cannot slice it yet since it is not yet ripe to eat. Suntory Horoyoki Sweet Summer Lychee

You deserve a break when you've had a busy day from work, cooking and just doing our daily routine. Today, Manang V asked Carmina to cook the shrimp tempura being old age you tend to forget how to cook certain food. Manang V only caters to Filipino dishes. Carmina had prepared the shrimp tempura and made garden salad for anyone who wants to eat it for dinner. Carmina decided to drink one of her new Suntory Horoyoi Sweet Summer Lychee that she had purchase back on the beginning of the month of November. Carmina had purchased her Suntory Horoyoki Lychee from  BuiltaMart  New Manila for PHP 79.00 ($1.58) per can of 350 ml. Ingredients in Suntory Horoyoki Sweet Summer Lychee and how much alcohol content in one can Suntory Horoyoki Lychee alcohol is 3%. The flavor is lychee and not strong can drink it for social drinking. Carmina doesn't really like to drink and when she does she prefer the ones with fruit flavor.
