Carmina's Review on Second Branch of Sundays Cafe and Restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City

We have friends who love to eat out and have no clue where there are places to dine.  No problem with based on my experience we can refer them to places that are reasonable prices. Carmina had tried Sundays Cafe in the branch located in Marikina. I was informed by the server they will be opening their second location sometime this year. Few days ago, Mom Violy, Carmina and some friends came with us to see the new branch of Sundays Cafe and Restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City. There is parking in front of the restaurant.  We walked in and noticed a sign saying it was a soft opening. The place was full yet they we're able to accompany us to our table on the ground floor. Someone working there gave us a tour upstairs where the function rooms to those having a party.  The restroom is unisex the first door has the handicap and two restroom doors for male and female to use. The two menus were handed to us one is Filipino and International food.  Next the utensils, napkins, glass water p

Have you’ve ever been bribed to keep a secret you have discovered from someone?

Have you’ve ever been bribed to keep a secret you have discovered from someone? The reason I came from this topic because my friend was telling me someone was bribing him to get what he wanted out of his connections and since my friend had no money to buy what he needs the person who has money wanted to bribe him to get what he had wanted for himself. I was telling him life doesn’t work that way to be bribed off to get what you want especially if it comes from using you to get someone back in your life just to use you to get back what relationship you have lost. My friend said I was not thinking clear and I know what bribe is because when I was growing up I went through bribes and I know what it does and how it doesn’t work that way. Sometimes from a reason you don’t mean to eavesdrop on someone’s conversation to find out news from someone that they want to keep it away from someone they tend to buy you something you really want that you cannot afford. I know how it feels to

Did you know you need to peel your asparagus?

Did you know you need to peel your asparagus? I was surprised that my friend was peeling her asparagus before she had cooked it into bowling water. We normally just wash and boil it how it comes from the grocery store. I had asked my other friend about it and she was also surprised because she does the same thing in what we do as I was asking my friend who was peeling the white asparagus why you need to peel it she said this is what she was taught to do since her boyfriend is a chef. I had looked into it more and was told when your asparagus is thick you need to peel the tough skin of the asparagus. Although peeling the thin asparagus is not required to peel the skin it is not bad for you if you plan to eat it so far nothing has happened to me and we eat the skin often the asparagus are very thin the size of your pinky on your hand. Imagine if I peeled that I have less to eat from it and asparagus are expensive in the Philippines.
