Carmina's Review on Second Branch of Sundays Cafe and Restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City

We have friends who love to eat out and have no clue where there are places to dine.  No problem with based on my experience we can refer them to places that are reasonable prices. Carmina had tried Sundays Cafe in the branch located in Marikina. I was informed by the server they will be opening their second location sometime this year. Few days ago, Mom Violy, Carmina and some friends came with us to see the new branch of Sundays Cafe and Restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City. There is parking in front of the restaurant.  We walked in and noticed a sign saying it was a soft opening. The place was full yet they we're able to accompany us to our table on the ground floor. Someone working there gave us a tour upstairs where the function rooms to those having a party.  The restroom is unisex the first door has the handicap and two restroom doors for male and female to use. Carmina's favorite onion chips have always been Funyuns that is made in the USA. It is difficult to find any seller selling Funyuns Onion Flavored Rings in the Philippines. If you do find it you're consider lucky. In luck Carmina was able to find a seller who had a quantity available of course I made my limit due we're on a diet.   Carmina wanted to down the line to try the Chicken Pie from Midnight Bakers. Carmina has already tried the Mini Chicken Pie and Big Chicken Pie.  Chicken Pie reminds me of the empanada version. Cinnamon with Cream from Midnight Bakers

Carmina grew up eating cinnamon rolls the reason she loves eating it because her favorite spice is cinnamon. Carmina prefer having raisin when baked in bread. Carmina wanted to try the cinnamon with cream from Midnight Bakers since she was able to try a variety of breads from previous orders. Carmina had discovered from the cinnamon with cream it is not too sweet. There is extra filling of cinnamon layered inside being rolled up with raisins. The cream on top doesn't over power the taste on the layer of the ingredients. You can reheat it the next day when you plan to eat it with some coffee or tea. Can you tell the difference which is the Original Tuna Pie and the New Spicy Tuna Pie?

Can you tell the difference which is the Original Tuna Pie and the New Spicy Tuna Pie? Carmina went to try both flavors to see what the real difference is. Can you tell from the two which one is what by slicing it up in the middle? Both tuna pie look the same in the inside however when you look real close there is a line on the spicy tuna pie located on the side on the outer part. Original Tuna Pie is PHP 50.00 ($1.00) and Spicy Tuna Pie is PHP 54.00 ($1.08). Verdict: Carmina has no problem eating either one it is not super spicy you can tolerate the spicy tuna pie.
