Carmina's Review on Second Branch of Sundays Cafe and Restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City

We have friends who love to eat out and have no clue where there are places to dine.  No problem with based on my experience we can refer them to places that are reasonable prices. Carmina had tried Sundays Cafe in the branch located in Marikina. I was informed by the server they will be opening their second location sometime this year. Few days ago, Mom Violy, Carmina and some friends came with us to see the new branch of Sundays Cafe and Restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City. There is parking in front of the restaurant.  We walked in and noticed a sign saying it was a soft opening. The place was full yet they we're able to accompany us to our table on the ground floor. Someone working there gave us a tour upstairs where the function rooms to those having a party.  The restroom is unisex the first door has the handicap and two restroom doors for male and female to use. Latte Caramel Biscuit

  I woke being in Thailand drinking their coffee something I was able to discover in my trip. I would like to share it with you along with my journey. Rise and shine we wake up drinking a cup of coffee along with our breakfast. Today I an drinking Nescafe Latte Caramel Biscuit made from Thailand. New Ube Macapuno Pie at Jollibee

  Every time there is a new product in your favorite fast food chain you will end up trying something new from a choice of an individual pie or 3 Pies to Go for the price of PHP 98.00 ($1.96).  The pies are small and if you want to have a bigger portion might as well stick too getting the 3 Pies to Go. Ube Macapuno is made of purple yam and coconut for the macapuno it is a popular combination in the Philippines familiar to when they serve desserts example is halo halo. How does it taste? Spinach with Shrimp and Tofu Recipe

  Our food is Popeye the cartoon character’s favorite food only differences cook the Filipino way. Spinach with Shrimp and Tofu Recipe Ingredients: 1/2 Kilo - Spinach 5 Pieces - Shrimp 3 Slices - Tofu (slice into cubes) 1 - Tomato (slice into quarter) Patis (fish sauce) to taste Step 1: (Shrimp Water) Use mortar and pestle add 5 pieces shrimp head smash it. Add 1/2 cup water Place the shrimp head and water in the strainer having a bowl below it. Set aside Cooking Instructions: In a pan add cooking oil on low heat sauté garlic and onion add shrimp, tofu, tomato and spinach Add shrimp water and patis to taste Mix together Place in a serving plate ready to eat. Nilagang Pata Recipe

There is different type of Nilagang base on what type of meat you would like to eat before you decide you may refer to the other recipes. Today our menu is Nilagang Pata cooked the same procedure only difference there is a tip how to clean the pata before you begin cooking it. Nilaga Pata Ingredients : 1 Kilo - Pata cut into 1 inch thick 1 - Onion (quartered) 2 - Potato (quartered) 1 - Tsp Peppercorns 4 - Tbsp.  Patis (fish sauce) 1 - Small cabbage (quartered) 6 - Cup water  1 - Chicken Cube Small amount cooking oil Medium Pot Step 1: Cleaning the Pata before Cooking: Boil water in a pot add pata to clean and remove excess dirt strain the water set the pata aside. Cooking Instructions: In a medium pot add small amount cooking oil in medium heat Add onion  Add pata and peppercorn Add six cup water  Tip: Best to cook this one day ahead place the pot in the fridge to discard the fat that becomes a candle form on top of the broth.
