Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Cafe Mexpresso in Congressional Avenue

My goal was to discover a new Mexican Restaurant in the Philippines that didn't have the Filipino taste. I was able to find Cafe Mexpresso from Grab application to order my snack for my Saturday afternoon. The picture on the top is a beef rice bowl if you choose not to get a burrito for PHP 135.00 ($2.70) I was craving for chicken and from their menu Cafe Mexpresso had Texas Chicken Burger that came with nacho and melted cheese in a separate plastic container for PHP 175.00 ($3.50). I love the taste from the Texas Chicken Burger you can taste the cumin from it. The chicken is tender and soft has a lot of flavor something I can go back in the next time around. I decided to try their homemade pumpkin soup for PHP 95.00 ($1.90). The pumpkin soup taste like how we make it at home very rich and tasty my favorite vegetable. Of course we never forget our overloaded fries 22 oz. for PHP 296.00 ($5.92) with barbecue pulled pork, cheddar cheese and garlic sour cream. Everyday wanting to tr...
