Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. Carmina was craving food backed home in California having some shrimp popcorn that is served to you before you actually have your main course meal. Carmina found out you don't need to have it for an appetizer you can go straight to your main course meal. Carmina was able to find shrimp popcorn served with wedge fries at Blake's Wings & Steak in the Philippines. Carmina was surprise to see a lot on her plate while taking a picture. It comes with garlic mayo dipping sauce and a slice of lemon. The great part you can share it with another person to eat your shrimp popcorn and potato wedges for PHP 315.00 ($6.30) not including delivery fee using Grab Food. Shrimp popcorn remind me the texture when you eat mozzarella cheese only difference the shrimp is inside. The shrimp is easy to chew and it is not over cooked which is an A+ for me.
