Family was informed by their friends to try Blackbird at the Nielson Tower and asked Mom Violy if she has ever been there before. Mom Violy had no clue what it was asked Carmina to look it up and see what kind of food they serve. Carmina gave the phone number to Mom Violy make a reservation for a family lunch. On the day of the reservation, we arrived early and were allowed to enter before the official opening time of eleven o’clock in the morning. Carmina was craving food backed home in California having some shrimp popcorn that is served to you before you actually have your main course meal. Carmina found out you don't need to have it for an appetizer you can go straight to your main course meal. Carmina was able to find shrimp popcorn served with wedge fries at Blake's Wings & Steak in the Philippines. Carmina was surprise to see a lot on her plate while taking a picture. It comes with garlic mayo dipping sauce and a slice of lemon. The great part you can share it with another person to eat your shrimp popcorn and potato wedges for PHP 315.00 ($6.30) not including delivery fee using Grab Food. Shrimp popcorn remind me the texture when you eat mozzarella cheese only difference the shrimp is inside. The shrimp is easy to chew and it is not over cooked which is an A+ for me.
