It’s always been our tradition that when a birthday is coming up in our close group of friends, we take turns treating each other. Mom Violy picks the restaurant, and we all tag along. Tito Boni prefers to use his credit card for dining discounts. Each of us has a role—Tita Edna handles the venue reservations, and Carmina coordinates with everyone to capture videos and photos during the celebration.
