When Mom Violy spotted Crisostomo’s handwritten menu, something in her chest lit up: home-style lumpia, sinigang steaming in clay pots—could this be the comfort food she’d been missing?

Carmina informed Mom Violy that she would visit her home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She asked if Mom Violy wanted to go out for lunch and mentioned needing to do some grocery shopping due to an upcoming big storm. Mom Violy suggested trying Crisostomo, a Filipino restaurant inside Robinsons Magnolia. Carmina forwarded the menu for her to choose what she wanted to eat, while Carmina already knew her order. I chose pork barbeque served in a set of three pieces with a vinegar dipping sauce. I skipped rice and opted for lumpiang hubad, fresh lumpia without a wrapper, topped with peanut sauce.  Mom Violy initially craved the classic Pinoy paella, but when it wasn’t available, she decided on sinigang na baboy with an extra serving of rice. Carmina Discovered Something Different inside Grilled Tilapia and Grilled Boneless Bangus from Lolo Bobog's House of Pares

Carmina was craving for grilled tilapia and grilled boneless bangus to eat for her dinner. We have no fish available might as well just order it online. The best part it is has tomato, onion, ginger and shocking there are hot green chili peppers first time to try it on a grilled fish and there is dipping sauce of soy sauce and hot peppers that is minced up in separate plastic bags. Cranberry Cheezymada from Breadtalk Philippines

Carmina was able to go to the Breadtalk branch inside U.P. Town Center. She came across something inside on top of the counter in a white box was the Cranberry Cheezymada wrapped up individual. Carmina had purchase some for her breakfast. Cranberry Cheezymada has a similar taste with their Mini Cranberry Toast with Cream Cheese.  The only difference the Cranberry Cheezymada is sweet topped with butter, cheese and sugar on the top while on the inside it is hallow and there are only few cranberries inside. I had to choose based on the two baked goods in Breadtalk Philippines  it would be better to get the Mini Cranberry Toast with Cream Cheese there are more serving of cranberries inside.
