It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. I wanted a break from everyone you hear often in the news and when you’re tuned out from the news there is always a talk in your home. There are so many commotion in your home as the people in your home is going on too much stress in adjusting themselves to stay distance from each other. You have phone calls coming on and off the only way to do are be calm as there are people going in and out of your home with having a lot of employees. You find out you need to limit how many people entering the house and some have to stay scattered in other places while we are living in a place where we call quarantine from the outside and in your own home. People who have expose from the outside end up having a cold symptoms and all you can do is take care of them in that process wearing a mask so you don’t catch what they have and make sure it is not what you think it is.
