When Mom Violy spotted Crisostomo’s handwritten menu, something in her chest lit up: home-style lumpia, sinigang steaming in clay pots—could this be the comfort food she’d been missing?

Carmina informed Mom Violy that she would visit her home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She asked if Mom Violy wanted to go out for lunch and mentioned needing to do some grocery shopping due to an upcoming big storm. Mom Violy suggested trying Crisostomo, a Filipino restaurant inside Robinsons Magnolia. Carmina forwarded the menu for her to choose what she wanted to eat, while Carmina already knew her order. I chose pork barbeque served in a set of three pieces with a vinegar dipping sauce. I skipped rice and opted for lumpiang hubad, fresh lumpia without a wrapper, topped with peanut sauce.  Mom Violy initially craved the classic Pinoy paella, but when it wasn’t available, she decided on sinigang na baboy with an extra serving of rice. Chicken French Quarter Burger from Popeye Louisiana Kitchen

If you're a fan of chicken, why not try the chicken sandwich at Popeyes Louisiana served in a bun?  Carmina decided to go for the Chicken French Quarter Burger and requested the sauce on the side to keep the sandwich from getting soggy. The Chicken French Quarter Burger includes boneless chicken, bacon, red peppers, lettuce, roasted garlic parmesan mayo, all inside a brioche bun.  Solo Chicken French Quarter Burger: PHP 130.00. Carmina enjoyed her Chicken French Quarter Burger, which is a tasty chicken on a bun with all the ingredients mentioned earlier. I like that the chicken is soft, tender, and easy to eat.  It's a simple option that you can enjoy if you prefer something less messy.  You can get it as a meal for PHP 186.00 ($3.72), though additional charges apply depending on the size of the beverage and Cajun fries you choose. Carmina's Review on Arch Shawarma & Zofi SmooTea's

  Honestly I had ordered from Arch Shawarma & Zofi SmooTea's for their Fruit Shake. I have never seen someone sell Melon Fruit Shake with Pearls it is not a common drink to see. Someone wanted their Beef Shawarma the buy one get one free and felt there was nothing wrong with it based on the negative reviews I have read on their Facebook Page. For a family member who knows well enough on the shawarma can grant it to taste good with a reasonable price. Buy 1 Take 1 Large Pita PHP 184.00 ($3.68) Yes, there is always a mistake how people prepare our food. Something that was good the straw was wrapped up in a tissue with a plastic over it making sense a shake can be messy if you're on the go. The only problem I had was the flavored fries didn't have enough seasoning, but it is something minor I am sure they can adjust that easily. I did my last groceries one month ago I asked my mom if she wanted  DVF Dairy Farms Gatas ng Kalabaw . She didn't reply back to my messages so I was unsure whether if I would order it or not. Her friend had picked up her groceries from me to be delivered to my mom. My mom called me up where is the  DVF Dairy Farms Gatas ng Kalabaw  you had mentioned to me. I figured since you didn't reply back you didn't want to drink it. Carmina doesn't drink Kalabaw milk and didn't want it to go to waste. Sometimes grocery stores don't carry it when you place your order this time I was able to find DVF Dairy Farm at my favorite online shopping of course in the main branch  DVF Dairy Farm  Online Shopee Philippine. Carmina had purchase the biggest size for PHP 318.00 ($6.36)1000ml. to make sure her mom would have enough to drink or eat with her dried tayo with rice. I know sounds gross, but this is how the Filipino eat it. I can't seem to look at them when they eat it....
