Tips: Carmina Way to Hang Laundry with Less Space

Summer in the Philippines we tend to change our clothes several times in a day. Our laundry will come around double since we have clothes to wash daily due to the humid weather. Carmina needed extra space to hang her clothes, towel and beddings.  Carmina decided to look the same corner laundry rod that she had a very long time. It is useful because you can easily move it when someone else occupies the room. Carmina was able to find a different version from  Linlee Mall  Online Shopee Philippines for 411.00 pesos ($7.34) not including shipping and handling. I was watching the video from Linlee Mall to see how to assemble the adjustable sampayan clothes rack stand floor to ceiling tension drying rack hangers. It looks easy to the one I have right now.  There was a choice how many hangers you wanted. I decided to get the one with five hangers.  My item has arrived and was able to assemble without any tools needed.  Kindly watch the video to see how it looks so you have an idea just in cas

Job Position

What is your job position in your own home? I am a mother, a house keeper, a cook, assistance in the kitchen, a teacher, a technician, laundry mat, a handy man, gift wrapper, an administrator in a office and a personal shopper. I don't need a man in my life. I have learned to do things on my own since I was a child. I learn to change a light bulb in the house. I learn to put oil in my car for what my father taught me when I started driving. He said, you need to make sure there is oil and water in your engine. Make sure there is air in your tire. I learn to be responsible at a very young age. I use to do every one's laundry and fold their clothes place their in our separate basket. I even charge them extra if my family members wanted me to put their clothes away in their rooms. I became a business minded in our home I gave my family a penalty if they didn't put their clothes away leaving in the basket over night. I remember my sister had owed me money. She d

Life and It's Changes

I remember when my son was the only child. I had informed my son we need to go out to attend a birthday party. My son said, he can't go because his friends cannot be left behind. I asked him what friends you are talking about. I don't see anyone else in our home. He said, his friends are the scooby doo gang.  I realize my son had this imaginary friend all caught in his head. He said, they are a lot and the people who we are attending a party might complain that they are a lot. I told my son I am sure they wouldn't mind. I realized to myself I need to change my son's behavior. Too much television and having less social ability to mingle with other kids seem not that pleasant to hear from my son having a set of imaginary friends. I don't think it is normal to be talking to you in public. What may someone think of you? I started setting up play dates for my son. He would be able to play with other kids his age. I brought him to the park. Let

Exotic Filipino Food

There was one time I was visiting the Philippines for vacation. One person was offering me to eat rice porridge with chicken feet.  I remember my parents always told me when you are visiting some one's house and they offer you food. You really need to accept and eat their food. For some reason I couldn't accept the food because I was shock to see a chicken feet soak in a bowl filled with rice soup in it.  I just said, I was full. Sometimes they also cook it adobo chicken feet. Adobo Chicken Feet Just to warn you it is best to ask the person you attend a birthday party what the dishes are made of some times they serve goat in their food. They call it kambing in the Philippines. Once you hear that word you know what that is. They cook it as kaldareta, adobo or sinapalukang soup. Kambing (goat) Kalderata My father in-law loves eating it and you see the head floating in the bowl. Oh my. I can't even seat down at the same table seeing a head of a goat i

Classic Video Games

I remember when I was a kid the only video game that was in the market was pacman that comes in a machine where you put a quarter inside. To just play one set game until you lose. My dad bought us our first Atari video game console for two player game that you need to plug to the television. Pinball machine was the next in thing in the arcade.  As years past the first Play Station PS1 came out. I use to play Crash Bandicoot. I remember I would stay up at night just to get to the next level. Now, you can have video games access in your phone, computer and video game console that are hand held. It doesn't need to be connected to your television. I had some friends they didn't allow their child to play video games. I was telling my friend this is the best thing for a kid to have. You will no longer hear them complain that they are bored. When you are outside and you bring your child to do your errands you don't hear them whining and asking when

Open Window

What do we see when our window from our home is open? Do you ever glance outside and see what the opportunity is out there? Once our window are open we get to breath the fresh air coming from the outside. We hear the sound of birds flying. We hear noise coming from out of our home. We see our neighbors next to us. Do you wonder why I decided to put a window in my blog with my picture inside? I realized when I open a window it makes us gives us a greater opportunity see what else is out there for us. It gives us experience to share with other people who wants to read my blog. It lets me open up and find what I may not have figure out on my own. It gives me a pathway to open up and find may be there is something else there for me. It gives me courage to move forward than backwards. They say roads, pathway and doors has different direction in life. An open window is the same way we see life in a different way if we put our pass

Feeling Bangkok But Located in the Philippines

To me it is always a challenge to find new places to explore and still find a place that suit for other people who are older than us but want to travel to another country. My mom’s other destination is Thailand and I was able to find a restaurant that look like Thailand but this time you can eat their food too. For someone who loves seafood this is the place for you to try and test it out. Imagine you are eating at a floating restaurant just like what you would do in Thailand.
