Carmina informed Mom Violy that she would visit her home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She asked if Mom Violy wanted to go out for lunch and mentioned needing to do some grocery shopping due to an upcoming big storm. Mom Violy suggested trying Crisostomo, a Filipino restaurant inside Robinsons Magnolia. Carmina forwarded the menu for her to choose what she wanted to eat, while Carmina already knew her order. I chose pork barbeque served in a set of three pieces with a vinegar dipping sauce. I skipped rice and opted for lumpiang hubad, fresh lumpia without a wrapper, topped with peanut sauce. Carmina wanted to try the fried chicken known to be the favorite on Rocko's Herb- Roasted Chicken. Choice can be the Classic Crunch or Spicy Favorite. I went ahead and ordered the four pieces spicy fried chicken for PHP 275.00 ($4.10). The breading of is not crispy and a bit under cook on the meat it is pinkish and near the bone is red. Otherwise if they cooked it longer there would be no problem of it's rank be a good one. The flavoring is great being soft, juicy and tender on the meat. Overall Rocko's Fried Chicken just need to work on the consistency in cooking their food. I had also purchased the BBQ Provencale the same transaction the chicken was also under cooked as well had same problem. Better next time around hoping to see an improvement on both chicken. NOTE: Carmina is not selling or advertising on Rocko's Spicy Fried Chicken.
