Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Long time ago there was a Hermanos Taco Shop located near our area it had moved to Alabang which was too far away. Five years ago, a family member was craving for Authentic Mexican food. Carmina was going to meet someone in Makati area and found out searching it up there is one close by located at Bonifacio Stopover BGC. It was exciting to be able to enter inside Hermanos Taco Shop seeing there are more selections on their food. Carmina had ordered Beef Enchiladas for 345.00 pesos ($5.94). Family ordered Surf and Turf Burrito for 395.00 pesos ($6.81). After seeing the serving it is big having it sliced up for you to see includes with salsa on a separate individual container made me miss my hometown in California.
