Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. Do you ever take a break to rethink your life and the surrounding?

  I have a break for two days from my real work so I get to have time for myself. It seems when you have already worked yourself up from Christmas gifts and only have half of your list done now you want to move ahead to something new I started thinking ahead of myself took a big jump where my mom and I started planning for our next trip for next year. Yes, I know it seems for real but when you are staying home for a long time you would rather think of the good things to look hope ahead of yourself. My mom and I talk everyday from regular landline phone, via mobile phone and as well through Facebook messenger this way even if we talk everyday my mom still has the feeling you are there for them even if you are not next to them. I have been doing my part as a daughter buying her food and basic needs by sending to it to someone who works for us this way even if I cannot see her I can still do my obligation as a daughter to help my mom out.
