Just when you're on your last day spending with your family there is an invite to have dinner. My family wanted us to have a meal at an American restaurant. It was my first time to dine and have a meal at  Lazy Dog Restaurant  in Concord, California. My brother in-law had made a reservation at six o'clock party of seven. We had received complimentary barbeque chips and a dip while waiting for the remaining family to arrive. For our appetizer was the Bacon Candy. Reading the menu to decided what to order came across $15.00 Fireside Favorites that includes with a main course meal and dessert from smores brownie or banana pudding.  Fettuccine Alfredo  Blackened Shrimp Tacos Dessert  Family members just ordered what they wanted with the Campfire Pot Roast, Chicken Lettuce Wrap and Fish. Sinigang na Salmon Belly and Pinakbet

Lately I have been wanted to eat something with salmon but in a soup base and the place where I order my Filipino dishes doesn't have it available. I am unable to go to the market and buy my salmon. I cannot cook in the kitchen being prohibited due to the situation at home. Carmina decided to order food that had Sinigang na Salmon Belly it is really Authentic Filipino my reason why I say it is super sour from the tamarind that they use and spicy from the chili green pepper that has probably open while stirring the soup. Carmina was able to eat it with half cup of rice at home with a small bowl of Sinigang na Salmon Belly and the other portion can be eaten for dinner. My way of saving money and eating my food twice for a meal less than $10.00 in USD I was able to eat enough for the day. For those who plan to visit the Philippines and are on a budget they also have set meals that range from PHP 200.00 ($4.00) to PHP 300.00 ($6.00) depending if you want rice in your meals.
