Carmina's Review on Second Branch of Sundays Cafe and Restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City

We have friends who love to eat out and have no clue where there are places to dine.  No problem with based on my experience we can refer them to places that are reasonable prices. Carmina had tried Sundays Cafe in the branch located in Marikina. I was informed by the server they will be opening their second location sometime this year. Few days ago, Mom Violy, Carmina and some friends came with us to see the new branch of Sundays Cafe and Restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City. There is parking in front of the restaurant.  We walked in and noticed a sign saying it was a soft opening. The place was full yet they we're able to accompany us to our table on the ground floor. Someone working there gave us a tour upstairs where the function rooms to those having a party.  The restroom is unisex the first door has the handicap and two restroom doors for male and female to use. Mom Violy's Recipe of Gulay Corn with Dahon Sili Recipe

Mom Violy would like to share you what she is cooking for herself at her home. Carmina loves eating Mom Violy's cooking but since we're not allowed to go outside during our ECQ in the Philippines. Carmina asked the recipe from Mom Violy to ask Manang V to cook it at our house. Mom Violy's Recipe of Gulay Corn with Dahon Sili Recipe Ingredients: 4 - Fresh Corn (grate) 1 - Onion (chopped) 4 - Pieces cloves of Garlic (minced) 1 - Bundle of Dahon Sili 1/2 Cup - Shrimp Soup  1/2 - Pork Cube 1/2 Cup - Sliced Pork Prepare Ingredients: You will remove husk from corn and grate it and set aside in a bowl. You will use head of shrimp and use a mortar and pestle to pound with half cup water. Cooking Instructions: In a pot you will add small amount of cooking oil when hot add garlic, onion to sauté adding grated corn, sliced pork, water, pork cubes and let it boil once it is being cooked add the dahon sili. No More Excuses Not to Wear a Mask

Manang V has been complaining to Carmina she is having a difficult wearing her face mask daily while she is cooking and working. Manang V showed Carmina her painful ears being red. Carmina gave Manang V mask that are made of fabric from the size of her face she doesn't like fabric she said she feels hot when cooking in the kitchen. Manang V prefer to wear disposable mask to throw away every time it gets dirty. Carmina wanted to find a solution for Manang V not to affect her work as well to be safe around the people she works. Carmina had purchase two items for Manang V to figure out what was best for her to make sure she won't be in pain wearing her face mask.
