Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Kani Salad Roll Recipe

Carmina was trying to figure what she can make out of her leftover romaine lettuce before any spoilage would happen. I remembered I had some ingredients for Japanese sushi the only thing was missing was the rice. I figured I would see Mary Ann and Becky on Wednesday making sure they had something to eat. They are on a healthy diet. I came out by making something out of the ingredients I had in my home. Kani Salad Roll Recipe Ingredients: Rice Paper Romaine Lettuce (wash and separate leaves) Imitation Crab Meat (separate and add mayo) Mayo (any brand) Nori Seasoning Preparing: Add the mixture of imitation crab meat mixed with mayo on top the romaine lettuce. Sprinkle the nori seasoning on top. Follow instructions on the rice paper by boiling water and place inside a plastic container that is flat to fit the rice paper inside using a thong. Dip one rice paper at a time and roll each lettuce wrap like a lumpia making sure you fold both ends. Do the same for each one over again and it will...

Becky the Student Will Learn How to Use Something New on her Phone

Carmina's goal is to prank Becky handing her keychain that may look a car remote. 🤣 Watch a short mini clip! Reality it is not a car remote it is something to use for her Bluetooth monopod that is hand down from me. I only added a keychain protect Becky misplacing the Bluetooth remote for her selfie monopod. The remote that came from the Hoco  monopod doesn't work anymore even if you have exchange it from a new  battery since it got wet from my previous use long time ago. I had purchased a universal remote to work in any phone by Bluetooth from any phone model. Do you have friends admire for what you have? Carmina has friends who want to have what I am using when I take my own photos without someone else taking it for you. I remembered Becky saying she wished she had one too if she had budget on her money. Carmina gave several away to Mary Ann and her friends in California years ago who always asked one from her. Ever have friends who are not into high technology well Carmin...
