Tips: Carmina Way to Hang Laundry with Less Space

Summer in the Philippines we tend to change our clothes several times in a day. Our laundry will come around double since we have clothes to wash daily due to the humid weather. Carmina needed extra space to hang her clothes, towel and beddings.  Carmina decided to look the same corner laundry rod that she had a very long time. It is useful because you can easily move it when someone else occupies the room. Adobo Chicharo with Pork Recipe

Chicharo is known for sweet peas in another country and is cooked in our home adodo style along with pork. Adobo Chicharo Recipe: Ingredients: 1/3 cup - Soy Sauce 3 - Cloves Garlic (minced) 1 - Medium Onion (chopped) 3 Tbs - Vinegar 2 - Tbs Cooking Oil 1/4 Kilo Pork (chopped) 1/2 Kilo Chicharo/Sweet Pea (remove the sides) 1/2 Tsp - Black Pepper 1/2 Cup - Water Cooking Instructions: Step 1: Cook in a large pan in medium heat add cooking oil add garlic and onion saute  Add pork cook for two minutes  Add soy sauce, vinegar and water until sauce begins to boil Step 2: Add chicharo/sweet pea mix together cook for 10 minutes season with black pepper. Ready to eat!    

Adobo Hito Recipe

Hito is known to be called Catfish for people who don't recognize the name this fish is something I cannot eat but my family can and this is their favorite dish they like to eat once in awhile. Adobo Hito Recipe: Ingredients: 4 tbsp. - Ground Garlic 3 cup - Soy Sauce 1 cup - Distilled vinegar 2 tbsp. - Peppercorn crushed 8 big - Bay leaves 4 Tsp Maggi Sauce 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice Calamansi or Lemon Cleaning Instructions: To clean the hito/catfish squeeze calamansi or lemon and drizzle juice inside the fish's cavity. Rub the calamansi or lemon with salt and rub all over the hito/catfish. Let t stand until salt has evaporated to the hito/catfish. Rinse well  Cut hito/catfish 2 inch thickness. Marinate Hito/Catfish: Step 1: In a bowl add hito/catfish add soy sauce, peppercorn, maggi sauce and garlic for one hour set aside. We learn for reason and we learn when we make mistakes to change a way we want something to look or base on our experience. When I started posting video and pictures I didn’t know there we’re rules and guidelines to follow and obey as we learn by our mistakes we need to redo and edit things that need to be change. Vegetable Lumpia Recipe

There are two ways to eat this the naked way or wrapped up in what they call it vegetable lumpia. Vegetable Lumpia Recipe: Ingredients: 2 Cups - Bean sprouts 1/2 Cup - Small Shrimps (clean, remove head and shell) 4 Cloves - Garlic (chopped) 1 Medium - Onion (chopped) 1 Cup - Carrots (peel and shredded) 1 Cup - String beans (sliced thinly) 1 Cup - Sweet Potatoe (peel and shredded) - optional 1 Cup - Jicama (cubed) - optional 3 Tbs - Patis Salt to taste Black Pepper to taste Lumpia Wrapper Cooking Oil Vinegar - Dipping Sauce Cooking Instructions: Step 1: In a pot heat cooking oil add garlic, onion and saute. Add the carrot, string beans, sweet potatoe, jicama and bean sprouts. Season with patis, salt and black pepper. Mix together. You plan to eat it naked it is ready to eat but if you plan to wrap it up in a lumpia wrapper you will set it aside. Adobo Pusit Recipe

There are so many types of Adobo cooked in the Philippines from seafood, fish, chicken and pork anything possible when you are cooking a dish in the Philippines and can be cooked somewhere else in your own home. Adobo Pusit Recipe Ingredients: 1 Kilo Small Fresh Pusit (squid) – (cleaned keep the ink) 1 – Onion (chopped) ½ Cup Vinegar ½ Cup Soy Sauce 3 Bay Leaves 1 Cup Water 8 Cloves Garlic (minced) Salt to taste Ground Black Pepper to taste Cooking Oil Cleaning Instructions: Clean squids by removing eyes, innards and transparent backbone keep the ink sac intact. Rinse and drain well. Set aside Cooking Instructions: Step 1: Heat oil in small pan set in medium heat. Add onion, garlic sauté for 2 minutes Add garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves bring to a boil Add squid cook for 3 minutes until the color of the squid change color. Ready to eat!
