When you have family friends who have informed you that they will be visiting the Philippines. The common is that they will inform you when they would be in town. Upon their arrival after having many activities they will inform you when they are free to see you. Carmina had message Tita Edita that we would like to treat them for lunch along with Mom Violy. Tita Edita had informed me that her son and husband Tito Rozel would also be coming. It wasn't a problem for us it would great to see them again. The day was approaching for our bonding moment. Tita Edita asked if we would like to have lunch or dinner. Mom Violy said lunch works better for her. Tita Edita said sounds good lunch on October 4, 2024. Chicharo is known for sweet peas in another country and is cooked in our home adodo style along with pork. Adobo Chicharo Recipe: Ingredients: 1/3 cup - Soy Sauce 3 - Cloves Garlic (minced) 1 - Medium Onion (chopped) 3 Tbs - Vinegar 2 - Tbs Cooking Oil 1/4 Kilo Pork (chopped) 1/2 Kilo Chicharo/Sweet Pea (remove the sides) 1/2 Tsp - Black Pepper 1/2 Cup - Water Cooking Instructions: Step 1: Cook in a large pan in medium heat add cooking oil add garlic and onion saute Add pork cook for two minutes Add soy sauce, vinegar and water until sauce begins to boil Step 2: Add chicharo/sweet pea mix together cook for 10 minutes season with black pepper. Ready to eat!
