Life at Age 55 in the United States

Did you know in the United States when you reach 55 years old, you're consider a senior citizen? Carmina realized being one year to become fifty-five years old she can take advantage of the benefits when you're visiting the United States. Certain stores provide a discount when you shop at their store example in Seafood City Supermarket it is 12% from your purchases on every Tuesday. Ross Dress for Less Store every Tuesday is 10% off your purchase. Basically, you can gain a pension from support from the government to apply for low income when you want to start a life living back in the United States if you wanted too without having an income. Just visiting the United States if your 55 years old has a lot of benefits that some people are not aware of for example the friends I've spoken too. Did you know you can purchase a house that is for the 55 years and up for Retirement and 55+ Communities?  Carmina's friends have been informing when you're 55 years old you can co

Do you believe in kulam (witchcraft)?

Living in the Philippines there are some people believe in kulam which is a Filipino way putting people who they hate to take in revenge of a person or make them fall in love with them. In other worlds it is witchcraft that some people pay for someone to do it for them. I don't believe in kulam because when you harm a person you will pay for the karma you get to destroy a person in a harmful way. Is it even worth to put someone under a spell under witchcraft? I have a friend who wanted to do kulam to someone because she felt her partner in crime hurt her so much and when she had found out the price she had to pay she didn't realize the price was so expensive. The fee to have someone to be kulam is PHP 3,000.00 ($60.00).  In order for the person to do kulam you need the full name of the person and a recent picture of them have it printed it out to be given to the person who will put a spell on them in order to begin the process. I asked the person who

Drama

When you talk with your friend they always ask how is your day sometimes they have nothing to talk about because their work is always the same pattern on a daily basis. When your friend ask you how you are doing you seem to have a lot of drama going on in your household and your friends want to stay tuned to what will happen next. Sometime we live in a life where our household has so many dramas just like a television series that doesn’t end and keeps adding more interesting things going on a daily basis. When you live with a household of people you have so many stories to share. When you live with less people you have fewer stories to share. What kind of household do you live in? Drama to talk about or no drama at all.

Reminisce

As you analyze the person who left you and has part away you realize maybe the person who passed away knew she was in pain. As you reminisce and remember when she last visit you there is something you started to think with your friends that maybe she knew she had an illness because when you last saw her she was drawn to you that she didn’t want to leave to where she had worked has her boss kept calling her to go to work earlier than they time she is suppose to check in. When I saw Manang Ofel I remember she was always crying even if we had talked about the person who had passed away. I remember we even drank that time and she was so happy although she was feeling sick inside her she would dance off the alcohol in her system.   All through the night she had told us stories about her life as we took it all girls having a night to talk about. The next morning we ate together for breakfast she kept crying as my Aunt told her if she didn’t quit working for her she could h

Not For Sale

Do you have friends who seem like they are selling you off to someone else? It may sound strange but as I was talking to my friend I feel she is advertising me because every time she meets someone new she would tell them who I am. I feel she is selling me off somewhere to be sold. Do you ever feel like you’re an item to be sold off to someone? My friend tells her friend guess how old she is and they start figuring out your age as you become the audience of all her friends. Of, course they never guess what your real age and you end up explaining why you look this young over and over again. Do you have friends who talks to your friend feeling you are being sold off to a man you don’t know? You tell them you’re not for sale or in your worlds you are not interested. As the man starts looking for list of friends on his phone showing you the pictures you look at them saying they all look scary and not even close to your type. Remember if this ever happe

Carmina Life Style Playlist

We have days we want to just listen to love songs and other days we want to play dance music depends on our mood during those days when we're unsure what our life will be. We change our moods as we listen to this kind of music that seems to play a part of our life. We sometimes switch on and off trying to figure which songs lets us be ourselves during those days. I have days when I want to listen to some songs and other times it changes and you want to add a new song to your playlist. Your playlist adds on too so many selective songs just because you get tired listening to the same music all over again. Sometimes I ask my friends to suggest music for me to listen too because from so many music we can no longer catch up which songs good to our ears. I've decided to share the songs I listen to on a daily basis maybe you will find songs that you may like and find songs you don't either way we all learn from the taste of our own music from each other. Unexpected News

I had received a text message from an unknown number letting me know someone I knew had already passed away. I thought it my mind it can be someone who can be sending me fake news or a scam to only find out to call the phone number. I found out our old employer who had worked for us so many years has passed away her name is Manang Ofel the person was just having like a mother figure. Manang Ofel was always a jolly person and always smiled. Manang Ofel was very nice to me and treated me like one of her daughter. She always had something to give me as she came to visit us. I was wondering why for so many months she had stopped sending me messages and every time she had a day off over the weekend she would text me once a week. The last time I saw Manang Ofel when she had attended a funeral last March 2019 one of our relative that had passed away. She had cry so hard when she was there and made a scene. Her daughter in-law saw my name in her contact list and recogn
