Did you know there is a meat slicer for canned goods? There are some people who would like perfect slices when cooking a meal. Those who are in a hurry Carmina found something quick and easy to use. Carmina found a luncheon stainless meat slicer something similar with an egg slicer. Carmina made her purchase from Rose Underwear Shop Online Shopee for 80.00 pesos ($1.40) not including shipping and handling. All you need is remove the luncheon meat from the can and place it on top making sure the slicer is open by moving the blade up. Close the lid which is the stainless-steel blade slice the luncheon meat. It is easier if you're using both hands however were able to do it using one hand while taking the video. NOT SPONSORED. Mom Violy would like to share you what she is cooking for herself at her home.
Carmina loves eating Mom Violy's cooking but since we're not allowed to go outside during our ECQ in the Philippines.
Carmina asked the recipe from Mom Violy to ask Manang V to cook it at our house.
Mom Violy's Recipe of Gulay Corn with Dahon Sili Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 - Fresh Corn (grate)
- 1 - Onion (chopped)
- 4 - Pieces cloves of Garlic (minced)
- 1 - Bundle of Dahon Sili
- 1/2 Cup - Shrimp Soup
- 1/2 - Pork Cube
- 1/2 Cup - Sliced Pork
Prepare Ingredients:
- You will remove husk from corn and grate it and set aside in a bowl.
- You will use head of shrimp and use a mortar and pestle to pound with half cup water.
Cooking Instructions:
- In a pot you will add small amount of cooking oil when hot add garlic, onion to sauté adding grated corn, sliced pork, water, pork cubes and let it boil once it is being cooked add the dahon sili.
- It is ready to be served with rice.
