While traveling around the world, the family visited the Philippines and decided to combine a double birthday dinner with James. In our chat group, we discussed which restaurants we’d like to dine at, and Mom Violy has been eager to try the all-you-can-eat lobster her best friend recommended at Solaire. Carmina took charge of making the reservation through Solaire's Resort website and asked the family which seating time they preferred, choosing between two options with different time frames. Carmina registered it under Mom Violy's name and phone number. She received an email for our confirmation, and a week beforehand, a reminder was sent to Mom Violy's mobile to confirm if we were going ahead or not. Carmina replied to the SMS since Mom Violy wasn’t sure how to do it. We were told to arrive fifteen minutes before our scheduled entry time, which was 5:30 p.m. on February 12, 2026. When we arrived, we were informed we couldn’t enter the dining area until exactly 5:30 p.m...
Someone gave Carmina a gift certificate from any Grand Hyatt Hotel in the Philippines having an option to use it.
Carmina decided to ask Mom Violy where she would like to dine inside Grand Hyatt Manila being her treat on her birthday on November 16, 2022.
Mom Violy picked No.8 China House. Carmina made reservation online putting under Mom Violy's name letting them know there is a birthday celebrate.
The day before you'll be receiving a reminder in your email letting you know your reservation booked on what date you've plan to dine at No.8 China House.
We had arrived early and was able to take pictures inside Grand Hyatt Manila's lobby.
We had proceed riding the elevation to reach to the 5th Floor to find No.8 China House the restroom is located in the same floor.
Mom Violy was craving for Peking duck too bad we didn't know we need to inform No.8 China House that you want it for our meal. It is advice to inform ahead of time or else you'll be waiting one hour while seated at the restaurant.
Mom Violy also ordered her Birthday Noodles, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Shrimp Hakaw and Mango Pudding.
We had also a lot of left over.
Carmina wanted to see the swimming pool area to take our photos there.
All I can say the staff are accustomed to your needs they are also friendly those who want to take your photos no problem. They can take it for you by handing them your phone/camera.
