Sometimes when you spend too much time watching other people’s TikTok videos, you stumble upon something you actually need. Carmina was running out of shampoo and conditioner when I saw a trending product called  Khaokho Talaypu from Thailand, known for helping with hair problems. Since I have frizzy hair and usually go for products with coconut, I was immediately interested. Trying on her first Filipinana at R & E was like meeting an old friend: familiar, proud, and impossibly beautiful.

Carmina asked if the bolero can be a little bit longer to fit my size and body frame. The salesperson took my measurements and requested to have a zipper skirt since last time attended a wedding was having a difficult time have a skirt that just needed to be tied.
