Carmina's experience with LBC cargo service in California.

Whenever Carmina visits her hometown on vacation, she always makes time to ship boxes to the Philippines . This time, she’s staying with her dad in an unfamiliar area, so she had to ask where to send her balikbayan boxes . She learned that people there are happy with LBC ’s services. Mom Violy gave her a list of heavy items to buy and ship, and a family member suggested using extra-large LBC boxes , which were on promotion, offering discounts for sending multiple boxes at once. Relatives also donated used towels, bedsheets, clothes, and other items to give away for the upcoming Christmas season. Carmina kept telling her family she gladly accepts donations to ship. Everyone had unwanted clutter, and the best part was not spending on the items, just the shipping. While visiting California, a family member found out I was in town and suggested we meet halfway. Uncle Danny mentioned he’d like to eat at a buffet, and a visitor recommended Fusion Buffet  at Sun Valley Mall in Concord, California . I passed along the suggestion, and we agreed to meet at eleven o’clock when the restaurant opened so we could walk right in. We set the date for Wednesday, May 27, 2026. When we arrived, there was already a line forming right at opening. At the counter, staff asked how many were in our party and if there were any seniors eligible for the 10% discount for guests aged 65 and older.  We were shown to our table and ready to get food. While family members filled their plates, Carmina took videos of the dishes on offer. I found it tricky to record since the line was busy and didn’t want to hold anyone up, which made me understand why people in some countries film in fast mode.
