Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...

Deli German Franks and Tender Juicy Hotdog

In the Philippines, we have a wide variety of sausages and hotdogs to suit any craving. We can enjoy them the American way in a hotdog bun or go the Filipino route by pairing them with pandesal or rice.

Hotdogs are also a staple ingredient in Filipino dishes like spaghetti, chicken pastel, and sopas, adding more flavor beyond just the usual way of eating them.

In our household, we love Purefoods products, especially the Purefoods German Franks priced at PHP 190.00 ($3.80) for 500g.

Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdog Jumbo PHP 186.00 ($3.72) 1 kilo

Carmina restocked her home with food due to the extension of our lockdown until May 15, as rules prohibit going out during the pandemic.

Life in the Philippines has been progressing slowly, but we’ve grown accustomed to staying home. For us, it doesn’t matter where we are as long as we have food to eat daily, something we are thankful for and feel blessed to have, even before COVID-19.

Purefoods Deli German Franks and Tender Juicy Hotdogs were purchased online through the Metro Mart application, which shops at Shopwise Philippines. This is where I do my online shopping for my mom and our household.

Prices may vary depending on where you plan to buy your Purefoods Deli German Franks and Tender Juicy Hotdogs. You can refer to the provided link for other products you might want to try.
