Carmina's review on Summit Hotel in Tacloban

Last year my dad had informed me he will be getting married in Tacloban the place his wife grew up in the Philippines . My dad said he would like all of his family members to attend since they couldn't go to the one in the United States. Carmina booked her flight during Philippine Airlines ’ year-end sale at the start of 2026. I told my dad about my travel plans for a short trip from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19. My cousins also asked for my flight details so they could book the same flight. My dad said he will book my room for me sharing with two family members at  Summit Hotel in Tacloban . Eat Your Veggies Day from Jamba Juice

My niece didn’t tell us what was in her salad when she offered us her leftovers.

I remember the first time I tried kale—it was from my niece during my trip to California three years ago. She was on a diet, going through that teenage phase.

My mom tried it first and made a face. The worst part? There was no drink around at the time. I had to search for a place that sold beverages as we were walking. My mom and I had no idea what kale tasted like in a salad.

My niece asked me to finish the salad. The only thing I didn’t like was the dressing she used.

Later, in the humid weather of the Philippines, I saw Jamba Juice and wondered how kale would taste as a drink.

The best part? It’s blended with apples, and after drinking it, I couldn’t even taste the kale—the apple flavor was stronger.

It’s so cool to drink my veggies through a straw and still stay healthy.

What’s even better is that Jamba Juice offers it on sale for PHP 199.00 ($3.98) for two 12oz beverages on Eat Your Veggies Day, excluding the handling fee and rider tip through Grab delivery in the Philippines.
