Uncover the surprising results of Carmina's decision to invest in a wireless Lavalier microphone and how it revolutionized her approach to blogging.

Carmina realized she needs to invest on a microphone when does filming outside. Many of my friends who are digital creator have already made some purchases, yet they live in a different country. I remember Elizabeth said we should start investing since we are blogging outside and the sound of the surrounding overpowers when we are talking to each other. Carmina did some research and something that is practical going under our budget. This time I had message the seller if my android phone is compatible with the  Avidus  L20 HD Noise-cancelling Wireless Lapel Microphone with Charging Case. The person I had message said yes, it works for iPhone and C type . My favorite color was available in purple regular price was 2,199.00 pesos ($36.04) and since it is payday went down to 859.00 pesos ($14.08). The person I had chat said will give me a surprise gift since the item is getting low in stock must place my order now. My item had arrived the next day however couldn't quite figure...

Social Media

Ever since I started writing my blog I started spending less time in Facebook. I stopped glancing to see new post that comes out on your screen. The only thing I kept on was my Facebook Messenger when my family or friends would leave me a message. They too hardly go online to check their Facebook. They use Facebook Messenger more often and when I had visited California this year for my niece high school graduation and 18th birthday they call it texting. From that moment I didn't know what they meant. To me I call it chatting. Everyone has their own terms how they say, it.  Living in the Philippines we call it chatting and texting is through our phone called, "SMS" which stand for short message service. Anyway, my family and close friends uses email when we want to get a hold of them. They are not into the Facebook world. They have a Facebook account, but they are not so active. There are family members who don't want a Facebook for personal reasons. ...

My Way of Eating Healthy

When I was a teen, I was the skinny person who always wanted to gain weight. I had high metabolism. Whatever I ate I was still able to lose that weight. I was too active doing aerobic during that time it was very popular during my teen years. I went to night clubs just like an ordinary twenty one year old would do.  There was a time in my life when my Father found out he was high cholesterol. I saw him drinking some sort of medicine that he drank to lower his cholesterol level. He asked, me if I wanted to drink it.  My Father side of the family have obese and that is the scary part when I was growing up.  Even if I couldn't gain the weight in my childhood years. I still didn't want to be like my Father being high cholesterol. I stopped eating chicken skin and started eating healthy. My family thought I was a vegetarian. When we ate out at Carl's Jr. I would remove the hamburger patty and hide it in a paper towel on my lap when they are no...

When we want to run away from the city and have peace in our mind. We tend to go visit the nature and hike up and explore in the woods. This is one of my remedying to bring closure and bond with my close friends in California who you haven't seen for a long time. I am not a real hiker like my close friends. I can say I am just an average girl who gets tired easily and need a push in the back to keep going. Life Growing Up

In every childhood people grow up with different ways of discipline from our parents. We may have good or bad memories that keep our guard down. We tend to bring that up when you have your own kids. There are people like us who want to break that tradition and give our kids a greater opportunity that our parents couldn't give us when we're young. Like anyone else I didn't grow up with a perfect family. There are up and downs just like a roller coaster. You tend to experience from the right and wrong. While other people are traveling with their families during summer vacation or the holiday. Our cash flow is limited and we don't have the opportunity what may our other friends have with their family. As we grow up we tend to compare what they have and what you don't have. Growing up in the 80's was different we didn't have social media, phones, video games stuff what our kids have right now. I remember going to the library to borrow record or ta...

Bring Out the Old Negatives to Life

As the generation change the technology becomes more challenging to most people who are not use to it. There are some people who are still using a camera just like in the olden days.  I was cleaning out my attic and found some film negatives that I kept away from so many years from my childhood. I had search online to check if there are still photo shops that can still develop my film negatives. All my friends we're laughing at me thinking it is impossible. I started calling photo shops near my area. They had informed me they no longer do it. I didn't want to let my memories that shared my life during my childhood years to become a waste. I couldn't remember my pictures as I was glancing through the film under the light of my laptop. I didn't want to stop searching online. I found out you can actually use a special scanner for your negatives.  I checked online where to buy this sort of scanner. I started checking online to see if there we...

Fruits in Season

Who doesn't enjoy cherry picking season that comes every year in the month of mid-May to mid- June depending on the rainfall becomes available in Brent wood, California. Every time I get the chance to visit California I make sure I bring some cherries back home in the Philippines. Did you know cherries range from $20.00 per kilo in the Philippines and comes from the same area.  While you spend less buying or picking cherries in California. How I wished we can just have a cherry tree in the Philippines. Of, course it is not possible due to our tropical climate. In the Philippines we buy cherries either in Farmer's Market located in Cubao, Quezon City, Divisoria behind 168 shopping malls near the fruit stand near the bridge or in Uni Mart located in Greenhill's Shopping Mall. Other than cherries you can find plum, peaches, nectarine, kiwi and persimmon depending on the season when they are available. Yet, they cost a lot and our pocket cannot afford t...

La Bella Hotel in Tagaytay, Philippines

Do you feel like going to a place that looks like Greece? I found a hidden gem that was recently opened in Tagaytay the wondrous of a cooler weather call,"La Bella Hotel".  The time I went there the place was still being constructed not much to see. I went when it was raining on and off on the month of July this year.  I don't recommend you booking a room there. The rooms are too small and there are limit things to do in the area. It is just a nice place to take a picture. NOT SPONSORED. Subscribe @ Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel  a place to look, discover and share. Thank you for your support.
