This is the simple way to cook your tocino at home by slicing it into small bite size pieces this way all part of the tocino is fully cook and no need to slice it when it is time to eat you will have less work. Cooking Instructions: In a frying pan add cooking oil once hot add tocino that has been sliced cook both sides place in a plate ready to eat. This dish can be misleading it look like a tinola but actually it is not but cooked almost the same way only difference it is a fish cooked with ginger and  dahon na sili. Chicharron is made from fried pork also called pork rinds in other places. Otherwise in the Philippines it is called chicharron where you dip it with vinegar or spicy vinegar with hot chili peppers. Sometimes they eat this while they would be drinking alcohol or just a snack just like how you eat chips. We also add chicharron to our vegetable dish called pinakbet which is mixed vegetables. This is not your common chicharron you see often people selling it are something different with no pork meat inside as well it is very thin and crispy. After seeing for the first time the most colorful pancit ever been made in the Philippines I realize after I had tasted it and why it looked the way it does it is because it is half palabok and half pancit canton made with sotanghon and canton noodles mixed together. The way it looks different from being mixed with palabok and pancit ingredients combined and the unique flavor is not the sauce usually made from a palabok it is flavored with soy sauce. Every now and then my friend would call me up through video call and ask me what she can cook out what ingredients she has in her home due she miss eating Filipino food but she is staying in a foreign country. As my friend takes out all the ingredients she has in her home I started analyzing to see what she can make her ingredients in something that she can cook out of it.
