Did you know there is a meat slicer for canned goods? There are some people who would like perfect slices when cooking a meal. Those who are in a hurry Carmina found something quick and easy to use. Carmina found a luncheon stainless meat slicer something similar with an egg slicer. Carmina made her purchase from Rose Underwear Shop Online Shopee for 80.00 pesos ($1.40) not including shipping and handling. All you need is remove the luncheon meat from the can and place it on top making sure the slicer is open by moving the blade up. Close the lid which is the stainless-steel blade slice the luncheon meat. It is easier if you're using both hands however were able to do it using one hand while taking the video. NOT SPONSORED. For the pork lover here is a dish for you to cook at your home this is lechon kawali that is often cooked in our home by Manang V to top it off on the side with homemade lechon sauce of my mom in which I will include with this recipe.
Lechon Kawali Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 Kilo - Liempo
- 1 Tsp - Salt
- 1/2 Tsp - Magic Sarap
- 3 Cups = Water
- Cooking oil
Boiling Instructions:
- In a pot boil the three cups water add the magic sarap and salt until hot add liempo to soften for 15 minutes.
- Place the liempo on a strainer set aside
Frying Instructions:
- In a frying pan or deep fryer add cooking oil until hot fry both sides of the liempo when cooked slice the liempo into cubes like shown in the picture.
Lechon Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 Can - Liverwurst
- 1 Tbsp - Salt
- 1/2 Cup - White Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp - Whole Black Pepper
- 1/2 Cup - Breadcrumbs
- 1 Cloves - Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 Cup - Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbsp - White Sugar
Step 1:
- In a pot add small amount of cooking oil once hot add garlic sauté add liverwurst, vinegar, breadcrumbs, sugar and salt mix together until texture is smooth it is ready to serve cooked in low heat.
