As Carmina prepares for the upcoming changes on February 1, 2027

Carmina heard that YouTube has a new guideline for those who are considering to be fully monetized starting February 1, 2027 , lots of people will be affected. People are already having a difficult time accomplishing 4,000 public watched hour what happens when it is double task. Carmina is grateful she has passed the 3,000 public watched hours yet worried if don't reach being fully monetized. I know it explains that won't be affected however we want to make sure by February 1, 2027, that we are fully monetized giving me five months to work harder. As of August 9, 2026, Carmina has 383 public watched hours to accomplish to be fully monetized. My friends tell me better have extended public watched hours just to be safe. The only way to complete the public watched hours is either you have friends play your playlist, go live streaming and do premiere since counted as a live stream. When the longing for authentic Pinoy dishes strikes in the U.S., Isla Grand stands ready to transport your taste buds back to the Philippines.



Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant. Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up.

As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California, the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day.

On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. They usually have a live band, but unfortunately, there was no entertainment the night we went. My family had spoken highly of Isla Grand and encouraged us to try the Filipino dishes we’ve been missing from back home.

We had a big feast on Mother’s Day, celebrating with a delicious meal. Some food couldn’t be finished, so there were plenty of leftovers for family members to take home. With such a big family, everyone enjoyed a variety of Filipino dishes. We didn’t get to take many photos since most of us were already hungry and ready to eat. If you’re ever in the area, check it out—they also offer a buffet for breakfast and lunch.
