Join us for a memorable family lunch at the Blackbird, nestled within the iconic Nielson Tower, where exquisite cuisine meets stunning panoramas.
Family was informed by their friends to try Blackbird at the Nielson Tower and asked Mom Violy if she has ever been there before. Mom Violy had no clue what it was asked Carmina to look it up and see what kind of food they serve.
Carmina gave the phone number to Mom Violy make a reservation for a family lunch. On the day of the reservation, we arrived early and were allowed to enter before the official opening time of eleven o’clock in the morning.
We decided to stay in the lobby, where we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. Carmina took videos inside and learned about the history by talking to the staff.
One hour later, people started coming into the restaurant and took their seats at the reservation table, browsing the menu to decide what to order. Our family members were running late, but we didn’t get bored thanks to the friendly staff. More customers kept arriving and placing their orders, and we couldn’t help but glance at their dishes, curious about what they had chosen since it was our first visit.
Mom Violy noticed someone sitting next to us had ordered Grilled Iberico Pork Skewers, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Chilled Rice Noodles, Herb Salad, and Nuoc Cham for 980.00 pesos ($16.33). We decided to order the same thing, and the family really enjoyed it.
Family had ordered Blue Swimmer Crab Omelet, Lamb Rendang, Siracha and Jasmine Rice for 1,200.00 pesos ($20.00). This was Mom Violy's favorite dish among everything we had ordered.
Mom Violy wanted to eat steak found out it is for sharing so the family ordered it as well for our meal.
Family kept ordering meals that Carmina no longer paid attention since already hungry. Everything is listed at the menu.
Family member said their friend must try their Delicious Fried Rice for 280.00 pesos ($4.67).
Highlights based on our experience the food is combined with international dishes and was told they are a sister company with People's Palace where we had already tried.
From our observation, most diners are dressed in business attire, often holding meetings over a meal. The place has a pleasant atmosphere that offers something unique, paired with a fine dining experience.
