Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...

Hail Caesar Salad & Big Bird Salad at Salad Stop!

In our home the menu will repeat itself after the third week there are certain Filipino dishes that Carmina doesn't eat.

I am not really a person who loves to eat pork kikiam and pork liver which is food for the day is menudo.

I wanted to fall into eating garden salad. I had a difficult deciding which place I would order due I had someone who wanted Caesar.

It was hard on me that I need to narrow down what I had to order for myself that had Caesar salad available.

I had used Grab application to order my food and type on search Cesar Salad.

All the listed restaurant that had the Cesar Salad popped up and I went to check each one what other salad was available due to being limited choices in each one.

I went to Salad Stop a place I have tried two months ago. I went ahead and ordered something new for myself.

Each salad had arrived in a container and the salad dressing was taped to make sure it is secure being handed over to a rider from Grab.

Hail Caesar Salad has the following ingredients romaine, parmesan cheese, egg, croutons, bacon and Caesar dressing for PHP 275.00 ($5.50).

Big Bird Salad has the following ingredients romaine, turkey ham, avocado, celery, green apple, grapes and Ranch dressing. I had asked not to add the celery to my salad. I also requested the salad dressing to be set aside to prevent the salad to get soggy for PHP 365.00 ($7.30).

When my Big Bird Salad had arrived I had added hardboiled egg and other ingredients that I have in at home to make it a full meal for the day.

You have a choice to add on to your salad since the ingredients we're already in my home I figured I can just add it on my own.
