  In the Philippines we use all sorts of vegetables to make into a salad pako in English is Fiddlehead Fern. You often see pako mixed with salted egg, tomato and onion with a homemade dressing. The best match with this salad is any fried fish of your choice. I was craving for corn on the cob when my friend had mentioned that they brought some from California. I wanted it to be different having it cooked with black pepper.
