Dive into a seafood spectacle — see the lobster up close and celebrate James & Carmina’s birthdays at Fresh International, Solaire Resort.

While traveling around the world, the family visited the Philippines and decided to combine a double birthday dinner with James. In our chat group, we discussed which restaurants we’d like to dine at, and Mom Violy has been eager to try the all-you-can-eat lobster her best friend recommended at Solaire. Carmina took charge of making the reservation through Solaire's Resort  website and asked the family which seating time they preferred, choosing between two options with different time frames. Carmina registered it under Mom Violy's name and phone number. She received an email for our confirmation, and a week beforehand, a reminder was sent to Mom Violy's mobile to confirm if we were going ahead or not. Carmina replied to the SMS since Mom Violy wasn’t sure how to do it. We were told to arrive fifteen minutes before our scheduled entry time, which was 5:30 p.m. on February 12, 2026. When we arrived, we were informed we couldn’t enter the dining area until exactly 5:30 p.m...

From private practice to public premiere: Carmina’s first YouTube debut changes everything.

Every day, I would join Lyn’s livestream after being active and chatting with others who were also watching. Lyn once advised us to premiere long videos since they count toward public watch hours, just like livestreams. She suggested they be over ten minutes, but to me, that felt too short premieres felt more like livestreams where you entertain viewers for one, two, or even three hours straight.

Recently, while on vacation, I decided to try my first premiere since my video was an hour and thirty-six minutes long. At first, I was nervous as a newbie, unsure if it was the right move, but sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone to see what might help with YouTube watch hours.

Carmina joined her friend's livestream to announce an upcoming premiere on Tuesday, January 13, Philippine time, since many viewers are in different time zones. It’s common during livestreams for the host to make such announcements and pin them so other viewers can turn on notifications and subscribe.

After uploading, I got a notification about possible restrictions in other countries, likely due to background music from when I was filming. I chose to mute that section instead of deleting and re-editing the video. It worked fine, and only a small portion was muted viewers didn’t seem to mind and happily chatted during the premiere.

A lot of my friends shared my premiere and joined the chat, but figuring out which moderator role to choose was confusing since there were two options. I didn’t mind at the time because they were watching along with us. I see a live premiere as being like watching a movie with friends, where even people who don’t know each other can connect through the channel—who knows, they might even discover shared interests.
