Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Celebrate day 365? Here’s what YouTube does to grow after year one

The truth will be revealed when Carmina Lifestyle reaches the deadline of her 365 days on YouTube on October 23, 2025.

A month ago, it was a hot topic among my subscribers who were in a similar situation, with their anniversaries approaching.

I also know friends who have had their YouTube channels for many years, and while they didn’t get monetized before their anniversary, they managed to achieve it afterward.

Carmina is curious to see how things will unfold for her since she doesn’t do live streaming, unlike my friends who are already monetized.

I’ve also noticed other channels with many subscribers that aren’t monetized, even though they do live streaming.

Ultimately, it’s really up to you how you want to approach achieving the monetization timeline.

Today is Friday, October 24, 2025. Looking at my YouTube Studio data as of October 18, 2025, my public watch hours are at 1,506 out of 3,000.

It takes time for watch hours to update and reflect accurately. Carmina is not in a hurry but just wants to share her life living in the Philippines

What I’ve learned is that we all live different lifestyles, and many people have never been to the Philippines. Similarly, I’ve never been to some of the countries where my subscribers live, but through their videos, we get to explore and see new places.

We don’t need to book a flight to experience these locations; watching their videos makes it feel like we’re already there. That’s one advantage of watching videos from our subscribers who become genuine supporters.

We often find common ground, which is great because meeting new friends is a wonderful way to get to know each other. Carmina frequently supports her friend's live streams whenever she’s available. She stays until the stream ends unless she gets a phone call.

Helping each other is another way we manage public watch hours. Even for monetized channels, maintaining watch hours is necessary. I’ve heard it can be even more challenging and stressful, with the risk of being demonetized, as some of my friends have experienced.

Carmina is taking her time, and patience is my companion as I journey toward the next chapter in the coming 365 days.

Carmina's goal is to make long videos this way replaces for me doing live streaming.
