Family was informed by their friends to try Blackbird at the Nielson Tower and asked Mom Violy if she has ever been there before. Mom Violy had no clue what it was asked Carmina to look it up and see what kind of food they serve. Carmina gave the phone number to Mom Violy make a reservation for a family lunch. On the day of the reservation, we arrived early and were allowed to enter before the official opening time of eleven o’clock in the morning. We decided to stay in the lobby, where we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. Carmina took videos inside and learned about the history by talking to the staff. One hour later, people started coming into the restaurant and took their seats at the reservation table, browsing the menu to decide what to order. Did you know there is Sweet Potato, Sweet Corn and Pumpkin Sitsaron?
Those who are health conscious can eat something similar to pork fried skins. Only difference these are made from vegetables from sweet potato known to be kamote in Tagalog. Or pumpkin is kalabasa both my favorite.
Mister Kamote Crackling by Vegetari Healthy Bites is what I had liked the best.
I gave the others away. Manang V liked the Mang Kalabasa Cracklings by Vegetari Healthy Bites.
Manang V was too excited when I handed the Mang Kalabasa Crackling. She had no clue it was already opened since I've had tried one piece. Manang V took a pair of scissors. I had informed it was in a zip lock packaging. I had opened it up for her.
Carmina remembers Becky was craving for sitsaron. I made her a bag of Sweet Corn Crackings by Vegetari.
Becky's overall review is better giving a rate of 5 for the taste. Becky recommended for kids being a healthy snack.
