When the longing for authentic Pinoy dishes strikes in the U.S., Isla Grand stands ready to transport your taste buds back to the Philippines.

Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. They usually have a live band, but unfortunately, there was no entertainment the night we went. My family had spoken highly of Isla Grand and encouraged us to try the Filipino dishes we’ve been missing from back home. Lech...

Carmina's One Move Made a Big Jump from 586 Followers to 1K Followers

Starting off having 586 Followers that only really count having a Facebook Page for Carmina Lifestyle.

DAY 1

The story began when Carmina had informed Becky her goal is to achieve 1K followers.

Becky began thinking and laying out suggestions for next year 2023.

The next coming Carmina woke up turning on her phone checking her account in Carmina Lifestyle. She saw something interesting just like taking a class.

Or something you see a sign or bulletin board you pass to sign yourself up. Carmina was curious and read other people's messages and was wondering what it meant if we said, "Count me in!".

All a sudden message began popping up on my notification. I kept clicking follow off the list someone had posted.

Next, I know I got restricted by Facebook where people call them Grandpa like they got grounded.

In my term I feel I got suspended when you get grounded at school with excess activities you cannot handle in one day.

One hour later Carmina was notified that she had reached 600 Followers. It didn't stop.

People who Carmina signed up for began adding Carmina Lifestyle to a list of groups where those people can follow you too.

It began to look exciting that Carmina was overwhelmed.

She had to keep herself off the phone.

Carmina had informed Becky about it, and she was amazed how many has acknowledge just one move.

Carmina decided to write a term paper (article) to inform everyone how it felt.

After posting it out people I had followed starting communicating inside having something in common. Realizing you're not the only one who gets Suspended 24 hours, 48 Hours or 30 Days.

DAY 2

Morning came and I saw I had reached 840 Followers and 1K Following. I was shocked how fast it had gone up.

I was no longer restricted and began entering a class that had listed Carmina Lifestyle. I added the ones on the list. Each of them who added me I made a comment for thanking for sharing next you know a chain reaction exploded.

Everyone who read my messages to the group started following me too requesting to RB (return back) and pay back.

Those who I've already followed I had replied saying it was Done😀!

Toward the afternoon I was sent to suspended not allowing me to do any activities.

My status had increased to 909 Followers and 1.3K Following.

Before going to sleep my status was 955 Followers yet I was still suspended mode.

DAY 3

Waking up checking my status 977 Followers and 1.4K Following.

I had received an award from 5 different Facebook Page as their TOP FAN. I began being a popular person for Carmina Lifestyle.

I had no way to respond since I was still on hold from suspended.

No matter what my rank kept increasing from groups who kept listing Carmina Lifestyle on the board.

I am thankful for those who have added me to their list. Not for them no one would know who I am.

Life as a blogger you realized there are so many of us who want to gain a higher number of Followers.

I feel we all came out from nowhere and became public reaching a goal to be well known.

Carmina came across into not only bloggers from different source of interest such as people owning a business, family members, entertainment (comedian, musician and band), beauty (makeup artist and beauty products), OFW living in another countries and hobbies (cooking, arts & craft, photography, painting and etc.) many more going out there.

Those who want to enter inside there is a way to get how many Followers you want to achieve just need to watch out when Facebook suspect all a sudden you have so many activities going on each day.

Carmina had received a warning your account is restricted for 10 hours.

It gave me a sense how many hours it will take so it gave me time to go and sleep early.

My progress was slowing down from 993 Followers and 1.4K Following.

DAY 4

Ten hours later waking up I didn't want to click anything inside just went ahead to check how many followers I remain of 997 followers and 1.4K following Carmina Lifestyle.

I notice there was a notification saying I have four top fans.

I also found out. I was listed into so many groups from followers that had added me.

It keeps going on but learning my lesson being suspended it was hard to keep myself not looking at my phone.

My progress was slowing down but after two hours I had reached my official goal of 1K followers and 1.4K following.

Carmina's Highlight

It is a great achievement. I think if I wasn't suspended from Facebook it would take less to be 1K easily. It is alright we learn from our own when Facebook doesn't usually see so many activities in Carmina Lifestyle, they are just protecting us.

We just learn on our experiences now I am sharing you the way how everything works.

I would like to thank those who have tagged me into their list and letting me be their Top Fans.
