How does someone you know can survive each day having financial problems?
Becky's Story
Currently today I only have 150 pesos in my wallet. My food ran out. My coffee is already liquid meaning it has run out and I used water to liquify the dried coffee that has stuck from the bottle. My sugar is 1/4 remaining and I no longer have any brown rice.
I am almost negative with my food.
Can you trust God and surrender all to him and believe he is the provider?
This is how I live my life day by day by God's grace he provides.
Carmina asked how Becky supplement does herself with her medication if her funds are low. Who pays her funds?
Unfortunately, I don't take any medication. I stopped medication because I prayed that I will not be dependent on to insulin and high blood medicines. I got vaccinated and my immune system began to be stronger. If something snaps at the back of my head, then it's my time. Or else I get checked up by a doctor once I have an income.
The only thing that bothers me is my vertigo that I had an attack a week ago. Other than that, I don't feel anything wrong or maybe because I lost weight. I have accomplished by changing my lifestyle by stopped eating pork and beef, eating vegetables, fruits and chicken only. It has helped me a lot.
Carmina decided to give Becky a cash challenge to purchase food out of 500.00 pesos that she had wired money to her bank account.
Out of curiosity Carmina is wondering what food Becky will purchase and make a meal out of her groceries.
Here is the prices and items Becky had purchased with having 122.00 pesos remaining from the 500.00 pesos.
One monay bread is enough to consume one meal yet I drink seven to eight cups of coffee reason why I end up finishing my sugar and coffee mate in seven days.
Sample Meals for Dinner:
Alternate your meal from one piece of egg with wheat rice cooked from one cup of raw rice to complete your dinner.
The next dinner is Lucky Me Instant Noodles Chicken or Beef flavor with wheat rice.
I know it is not the healthy way of eating yet this is how I survive on a tight budget.
Sometimes I have my lucky days when someone offers and give me food example champorado for my meals, but it doesn't happen every day.
I am a survivor and one day I'll pass this stage giving me challenges in the way I can survive.
I've learned how to budget my money that will last 12 days of the groceries.
Carmina asked what Becky will do with the remaining 122.00 pesos. She said when I have another chance to go and do my next grocery, I'll be adding that on top of it.
