Family was informed by their friends to try Blackbird at the Nielson Tower and asked Mom Violy if she has ever been there before. Mom Violy had no clue what it was asked Carmina to look it up and see what kind of food they serve. Carmina gave the phone number to Mom Violy make a reservation for a family lunch. On the day of the reservation, we arrived early and were allowed to enter before the official opening time of eleven o’clock in the morning. We decided to stay in the lobby, where we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. Carmina took videos inside and learned about the history by talking to the staff. One hour later, people started coming into the restaurant and took their seats at the reservation table, browsing the menu to decide what to order. Every time Carmina would travel she'll have time to eat with her neighbor friend Estella.
There are some friends who can only drive within their vinacity.
Carmina is visiting Fremont, California she would message Estella letting her know she'll be in her neighborhood.
Upon seeing Estella we had a face mask when entering the Com Tam Thanh Vietnamese. Those who are dining are also wearing a face mask and our table are distance apart from other customers.
By looking at the menu being hungry having no meal for the day. We asked Estella what she can recommend us to eat.
Estella said she always order the combo meal #20 Tom Com Combination Plate that comes with everything including soup and soda of your choice.
Mom Violy requested no egg due to her allergies.
Carmina decided to try #25 Com Tam Thanh Dac Biet Plate with no drink added mango boba smoothie and came with soup in her meal.
Being full we had leftovers to bring back with us.
We also asked to have our picture taken with the server who took our order.
Carmina took selfie photos while Estella and Mom Violy we're busy talking to each other.
Carmina found out during the pandemic Com Tam Thanh Vietnamese still had served food and have it ordered online.
