When the longing for authentic Pinoy dishes strikes in the U.S., Isla Grand stands ready to transport your taste buds back to the Philippines.

Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. As my dad approached Isla Grand , the branch we visited in Pleasant Hills, California , the host at the door said they could prepare a table for twelve at five o'clock. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. They usually have a live band, but unfortunately, there was no entertainment the night we went. My family had spoken highly of Isla Grand and encouraged us to try the Filipino dishes we’ve been missing from back home. Lech...

There Is a Thin Line between Posting and Sharing

Sometimes you come across someone who will ask what you've have been doing today being a blogger you tend to get comments from your friend.

Normally I would tell them I have been posting in Carmina Lifestyle. I would hear a smirk tone voice on the call saying you're just bragging that you have a whole lot of money.

People tend to read think differently when you want to express to share what food you have discovered or places you've recently traveled.

There is a thin line between postings and sharing knowledge is what I've come across to explain to everyone who is misjudging what anyone would post.

We can come across someone saying bad things about a person saying they want just attention when they post something.

We come to someone who says we're just bragging.

I hear oh you’re just driving for attention in reality posting and sharing are quite different meaning to anyone.

We can see our friends post something in social media. We hear someone say something negative thinking they are bragging what is going on with them.

In our society people think less of someone or they envy who they might have that they don't have to me. I have no intention to let people feel less of who they are it is just simple we post and share because we feel we want to let people know.

You have sharing knowledge you want other people to know the details to where they can also purchase an item or try what food you have discovered.

Either way no one doesn't need to explain whatever you have post and share among other people it is up to them to figure it out.

Carmina just wanted to let people know doesn't mean anything just a topic a friend had suggested me to write about.

Subscribe @Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel a place to look, discover and share.

Thank you.
