Mom Violy wanted to get a haircut from Ruel from Hairliners Salon in Ali Mall. She was saying if they are not too busy wanted to get a pedicure. They had no clue how to do it. Both Mom Violy and Marissa handed their phone to me. Ruel had informed Marissa that I am doing Poppo Live. Carmina's mom and her daughter had renewed our Globe postpaid account for a new phone one month ago. We both decided upon upgrading our sim card to a 5g that was offered from Globe to receive it for free.
Carmina's mom was waiting for the new sim card to arrive before our ECQ was posted in the Philippines due to high risk of Covid-19.
Carmina's mom couldn't understand what was the delay.
Carmina's mom decided to follow up on our new 5g Globe sim card and found out the sales representative who answered her calls previously forgot to input her mailing address where to have it sent.
The following day the two new 5g sim cards had arrived personal delivery.
Carmina's mom was confused it both looked the same not knowing which was hers.
Carmina's mom passed it on to her daughter to figure it out.
Carmina had opened each package slip and found out the Globe postpaid 5g sim cards looks exactly the same only difference the 16 digit on the back of the sim card we're both different numbers.
Each package with Globe 5g sim card came with a invoice slip stating which was for what account number and mobile phone number registered for a way to determine which one was for whose account.
Tips: Reactive New 5G Postpaid Sim Card from Globe Carrier
Step 1:
We're told to insert new 5g Globe sim card to our new phone. You will notice after turning your phone on it will say Sim 1 not provisioned meaning sim card is not yet activated with a symbol on top of your screen mm phone giving you a warning sign.
Step 2:
Using your mobile phone with old sim card dial 211 (GT Cust Svc)
Sales Representative will answer your call after being on hold for a short while depending how many calls are on the line once the sales representative will ask what you would like to discuss over the phone.
You will verify your account by giving your address that is under your Globe account.
Globe Sales Representative will proceed on reactivating your account and will ask you to give the 16 digit on the new 5g Globe Postpaid Sim Card which is located right bottom.
Globe Sales Representative will ask to put you on hold for the them to process your request.
You will need a pen and paper to write down the Reference number given to you.
Globe sales representative will ask you to keep your phone line open to receive an incoming call from them to talk to another person regarding reactive your new 5g postpaid sim card.
They will ask you to save your contacts on your old sim card so they can transfer it on their end to the new one.
Step 3:
Within the hour you will receive a call from a sales representative from Globe to verify who you are they will ask again the 16 digit number from you to active your 5g postpaid sim card and ask what mobile number it will activate under.
They will inform you it will take within 48 hours although for me it didn't take that long it was few minutes after I spoke to a Globe sales representative it was already working on my phone.
Step 4:
Activated 5g sim card is working you will reboot your phone and you will receive a call from the Globe sales representative and some text message what was the quality of their services during your process.
Everything is complete and now you can enjoy your 5g postpaid sim card on your new phone.
