Dive into a seafood spectacle — see the lobster up close and celebrate James & Carmina’s birthdays at Fresh International, Solaire Resort.

While traveling around the world, the family visited the Philippines and decided to combine a double birthday dinner with James. In our chat group, we discussed which restaurants we’d like to dine at, and Mom Violy has been eager to try the all-you-can-eat lobster her best friend recommended at Solaire. Carmina took charge of making the reservation through Solaire's Resort  website and asked the family which seating time they preferred, choosing between two options with different time frames. Carmina registered it under Mom Violy's name and phone number. She received an email for our confirmation, and a week beforehand, a reminder was sent to Mom Violy's mobile to confirm if we were going ahead or not. Carmina replied to the SMS since Mom Violy wasn’t sure how to do it. We were told to arrive fifteen minutes before our scheduled entry time, which was 5:30 p.m. on February 12, 2026. Giligan's



Years ago Carmina and her mom use to go shopping every once a week to their bonding the only hobby her mom love to do.

Carmina's mom would crave for inexpensive Filipino dishes we would stop by during our lunch at Giligan's Restaurant.

Each every time we ate there the employees would know who we are and what my mom would always order.

Carmina would always order pork barbecue in a stick of two pieces with rice. Carmina's mom would always purchase other food to be taken out bringing her own plastic container for food to be consumed at home.

Carmina felt like ordering at Giligan's Restaurant to try out what she miss the most is their Pork BBQ for PHP 114.00 ($2.28) and Pinakbet PHP 180.00 ($3.60).

There is suppose to be three pieces Pork BBQ one is missing not sure what happen to it. It is no big deal everyone makes a mistake no one is perfect.

Pinakbet is mixed vegetables it has eggplant, squash, okra, string beans, pork fat, onion, ampalaya (bitter melon), tomato and shrimp paste can taste it all very savory in your mouth and vegetables are not under cook how some people do when they cook this kind of dish.

The only thing Carmina didn't eat is the pork fat and ampalaya something she doesn't like the taste of it.
