Mom Violy, Tita Edna and Carmina have never been to Iloilo . Tita Edna suggested using her Philippine Airlines mileage to deduct 9,000 miles for a round trip to Iloilo and pay taxes of about 3,000 pesos ($50.85). Mom Violy and Carmina decided to do the same. Two weeks later, we learned Bacolod was recently hit by a typhoon, leaving fewer places to visit, so we changed our plans to stay in Iloilo, paying an additional 2,057 pesos ($34.86) for January 6–9, with Tita Edna leaving one day earlier on January 8, 2026. Do you remember those care
packages?
I remember making those care
packages for your friends when they are traveling far away from you attending a
new University staying off to a boarding house.
Just like what you see in the
movies during the time you're young being in boot camp parents sending you
goods for you with tons of goodies that are your favorites.
No matter what this package
looks familiar to me receiving it online having it delivered to my home. It may
not be coming out from my mailbox or front porch we often see in California.
Otherwise, the packaging
reminded me those days to reminisce back to memory lane having others
experience it is something feeling special for others.
How to make a care package is
some tips I will give you think what the person may love the most it doesn't
necessarily have to be some food. You can be creative making one for your family,
friends and those you have a relationship just take it as a gift.
It can be a treasure box filled
with memories you have shared with that person before they move off to their
new place.
It can also be assorted
pictures in a picture frame, snacks that you have shared among each other to
give that person is still next to you when they are really off somewhere else you
imagine can go wild thinking what to put inside the care package.
You can also give them a gift
certificate or money to treat themselves off to enjoy where they are.
My care package was bubble wrapped before I can even open it up.
It was inside a plastic Tupperware.
You can even put a note/letter either on top of the box or container all depends upon how you want to be creative.

How you make your care box all depends upon what you want to put inside your care package this is just a sample of what I made for myself off from shopping online.
Enjoy what you will make for someone, and I am sure they will be loved by you for making the time to do it just for them.
