Carmina heard that YouTube has a new guideline for those who are considering to be fully monetized starting February 1, 2027 , lots of people will be affected. People are already having a difficult time accomplishing 4,000 public watched hour what happens when it is double task. Carmina is grateful she has passed the 3,000 public watched hours yet worried if don't reach being fully monetized. I know it explains that won't be affected however we want to make sure by February 1, 2027, that we are fully monetized giving me five months to work harder. As of August 9, 2026, Carmina has 383 public watched hours to accomplish to be fully monetized. My friends tell me better have extended public watched hours just to be safe. The only way to complete the public watched hours is either you have friends play your playlist, go live streaming and do premiere since counted as a live stream. Collaboration is when someone wants to work for you and you will link your connections to one another in other words for example when you have a personal blog someone will recruit you to work with them a company that sells jewelry. They will hire you as an ambassador to buy their products with a 50% off on their items and what sales you make from a customer who have seen it in your personal blog you will earn 30% of that sale.
In terms you are selling their product and advertising it on your personal blog but remember there is a catch when you collaborate with a company.
I had received two offers to do collaboration that was my good news but since I knew less about the company it was hard for me to decide whether it was a good thing to start off.
I had to decline and say no there was no way in my situation being lockdown where in the Philippines we are unable to go out as the company was coming from the United States it was hard for me to give my full support to give in something I wanted to do for my personal blog.
But I had to think if I had made that obligation and agreed upon it I would need to keep buying the new products that came out before the market came out.
To me I couldn’t put myself because one thing we don’t have those kinds of funds to purchase something in currency of dollars as well how well do we know the company.
I feel one day there will be more collaboration in my future and who knows this time it can free items to sell not something I need to buy off my own pocket.
I am still grateful I was recognized from where I have been exposed by other people but at our turning point as we are stranded in our own home doesn’t seem the timing is right.
