Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...

Mystery to Me

Sometimes you become curious who are those strangers reading your blog without knowing who they are because it doesn't say who has been reading it.

As I keep writing a new blog after another I see someone has already read what I just recently post.

I wish they would leave some sort of comment to know if they like what they are reading or even put a like on that page.

I have new set of old friends that I recently found in Facebook she thought I was a scammer because she didn't recognize my last name. I changed my last name because I didn't want people to recognize who I was. This way I am just a mysterious person who just known by Carmina.

The only people who really know who I am are my family and close friends who are main contact in Facebook.

Otherwise my Facebook page is in public and I prefer it this way. I made it public so my blog doesn't limit it's viewer who knows I can be discovered.

Being a blogger it takes time to think what subjects to write about. Sometimes you run out of things to write about and sometimes the stuff you see just comes in mind to just to write it up in your blog.

I feel like I am an interview that no one seems to know who I am when I ask a lot of questions. They think I am just asking question just base on me being curious.

When I eat some where I feel I am a critic to talk about and take pictures of where I have eaten.

I have friends who think I am getting paid a lot being a blogger. Funny, to me I am doing it for fun just to keep my mind to explore the unknown. To experience the places I see every day or places I see when I travel.

No matter what my minds goes out to explore and I tend to write everything down once it is still in my head.

As I listen to music my mind goes in a different direction and makes me want to write more that comes in mind.
