It turned out the cook on duty made the error, even though it was written down clearly. We know Paella Negra takes a long time to prepare, which is why Mom Violy had requested it to be cooked beforehand. She wanted it as her main meal, but because of the mix-up and feeling hungry, she took a piece of Carmina’s Turkey Club Sandwich and asked for the bacon on the side. The keema wrap is a Middle Eastern-inspired dish made with ground beef, tomatoes, and onions, all wrapped in pita bread with homemade garlic sauce. It reminds me of the food back home in California.
Priced at PHP 89.00 ($1.78), I discovered a new spot that tastes like home, and I'm excited to try other items on their menu in the future.
