Puto bumbong lovers, your favorite holiday treat just got a Wendy’s glow-up—ready for a twist on tradition?

It’s payday, the perfect time to treat ourselves, especially with the ever-changing weather in the Philippines. For fans of traditional Pinoy desserts , there’s now a new twist to enjoy your puto bumbong . Carmina ordered’  Wendy's Philippines ’ latest offering—the Putobumbong Frosty —available in two sizes: 6oz for 87.85 pesos ($1.49) or a tub for 125.35 pesos ($2.12).  She opted for the tub, skipping the smaller size entirely. The classic puto bumbong, made from purple sticky rice with grated cheese and latik sauce , gets an upgrade in Wendy’s version, which adds leche flan , rice crispies, and creamy vanilla frosty. A sweet treat perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Carmina preferred it served separately, as the puto bumbong is hard and chewy to eat. I guess I’m just used to having it without ice cream. That’s just my preference—others might enjoy it as it is. NOT SPONSORED. Check out my channel where you can find my videos at  Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel ...

Steps Going Out of Your Home in the Philippines

Finally I was able to go out after four months to visit my mom at her place her area had allowed having family members to come and visit them.

It was difficult for my mom because she is a senior citizen and people who are at the age are prohibited to go out.

Since I don’t reach the age bracket I was able to visit my mom at her place and I was so excited to see her since we usually spend most of the time together to go out.

I was able to see the difference what people have tried to explain to me what was so different during the time there was no covid-19. The changes I saw was that people on the street wore face mask and followed the law and regulations.

I have also notice beauty salons had signs at their door only accepting appointments only and there was not that many people outside compared how it is normally is in the Philippines.

There we’re more people inside their cars wearing a face mask and only having two to four people in the car.

In the van I rode had a clear glass where there was a barrier between the driver and I inside which looked like this:

There is a sign on the door before you can enter any where.

As you enter the residential area they had disinfected mats to step on before you can walk in the building

There is a alcohol and sanitizer for anyone to use on their own convience.

Each household has a mat outside their door before you enter with shoes that came from the outside that doesn't enter in their home.

What I had just learned from going outside you will be bringing extra clothing and shoes with you when you leave someone's home this way to prevent getting bacteria from where you just entered someone else's home.

When you enter your home you will remove all your clothing and shoes to wear another set of cleaned clothing.

You will than take a shower and change another new set of cleaned clothing as you will be doing your laundry the same day to make sure you're not exposed to any bacteria that you may have gotten to places you have entered upon.

I realized some people do this and other people don't it is your choice how you protect yourself to the new life of going outside of your home.

It may seem a lot of changing new sets of clothes but the best part you know you are clean and no one gets exposed to the people who are not able to go outside.
