Tito Boni's birthday was on the month of May, but since we're on vacation in California it was delayed. Tita Edna decided to have the celebration meal at Zensho for our lunch. Tito Boni and Tita Edna had arrived at the restaurant to pick our seating arrangement. Carmina had picked up Mom Violy at her home and met them at Zensho. We had arrived at 11:30 AM. Not many customers during the time of arrival later people started coming in even if the forecast was raining. The next morning we have a tour from Singapore ferry going to Batam, Indonesia which is a 45 minute ride.
You can purchase your ferry ticket either through your travel agent, online or buy through walk in. For example we had purchase through Sindo Ferry.
There are a lot of ferry agents in the building to choose from. The price for the ferry ride is $50.00 Singapore money for round trip fare.
When riding a ferry, you will need to bring along your passport since you will be entering another country. It is best to arrive on time due to the process of entering Immigration. At the ferry when they say go to Immigration, they really mean Departure. It can get confusing to find it since there are no sign that says Immigration.
It is best to book a tour ahead of time with your travel agent. There are different types of tour available.

There are some people who have booked a hotel from Batam. They say, it is best to stay there for 2 nights to be able to complete the whole area of Batam. If, you are into nature and animals this place is for you.
If, you are just here for shopping not much to see. It is better to stay in the area of Singapore there are more places to visit.
